Dorie Parsons

webmaster@aoshs.org

Dorie retired after teaching for 30 years with DoDDS.  She taught art, photography, humanities, industrial art and computer science to students in grades K-12.  In addition, Dorie served as computer coordinator/educational technologist at the district offices in Okinawa, the Turkey/Spain/Islands District and the Mediterranean District.  Although Dorie enjoyed everywhere she was stationed--Okinawa; Midway Islands; Incirlik, Turkey; and Vicenza, Italy--at heart she will always be a Dragon from Kubasaki High School.

Dorie currently lives in a condo on the beach on the Gulf Coast of Alabama.  She teaches digital photography and basic computer skills on board cruise ships and exhibits her art work in shops and galleries along the Gulf Coast.  Visit her Web site at http://DorieWeb.com.
